New Developments

Queensland Fertility Group’s doctors, scientists and nurses have been helping couples have babies since 1984, when Queensland’s first IVF baby was born.

Today, we continue to improve treatment and assisted reproductive technology to give you the best chance of having a baby – because we understand that is what matters most to you. Our pregnancy rates are among the highest in Australia, and have already been part of nearly 15,000 pregnancies.

We also work with our network of fertility specialists in Victoria and New South Wales, many of whom are also IVF pioneers, so we can access and apply the latest research and technology quickly.

Read about new developments with regards to our fertility treatments, learn more about common fertility issues, and find out QFG’s views on hot topics in the news.

Every patient story is unique and heart-warming, but this page lists the children that were the result of significant scientific firsts that QFG and its people were responsible for.
