Dr Warrick Smith

Dr Warrick Smith graduated in medicine from The University of Queensland in 1996. While working as a resident at Toowoomba Base Hospital, he developed an interest in obstetrics and gynaecology, and was offered his first registrar position. He subsequently trained in obstetrics and gynaecology at the Mater Hospital, Brisbane, and Nambour General Hospital.  

Rounding out his training, he spent almost four years in Dublin, Ireland. He was registrar in obstetrics and gynaecology and Trinity College lecturer at the Adelaide & Meath Hospital, Dublin. Under the guidance of Professor Walter Prendiville, he also expanded his skills in laparoscopy and minimally-invasive surgery.  

He subsequently spent almost three years working as Senior Registrar and Trinity College lecturer at the Rotunda Hospital, Dublin, furthering his skills in both obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as working in the infertility clinic.  

Dr Smith then moved back to Brisbane with his wife and children. Having completed training, he joined Eve Health located in South Brisbane as a gynaecologist and is an associate with Queensland Fertility Group on Wickham Terrace. Dr Smith is accredited at the Mater Private Hospital, Greenslopes Private and The Wesley. Dr Smith practices Gynaecology and Fertility from Eve and has his own obstetric practice at Watkins Medical Centre on Wickham Tce where he also sees fertility patients. Dr Smith delivers at the Mater Mothers' Private Hospital.
