Michael is known for his friendly, down to earth and pragmatic approach to women and their partners. He completed his Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Christchurch and Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, after graduating from Otago University.
Michael is highly skilled and experienced in advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecology. He completed a two year Fellowship at the Centre for Advanced Reproductive Endosurgery in Sydney, with a third year in Glasgow, Scotland. He then spent two years as a Consultant Gynaecologist at Cambridge University NHS Trust. He moved to Brisbane in 2006 to enjoy the Queensland lifestyle, and is now a Visiting Medical Officer at the Mater Adults and Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospitals, where he sees public patients with severe endometriosis from around Queensland.
Michael also provides private consultations from Eve Health at Southbank, Brisbane and private surgical care at the Mater Private and Wesley Hospitals. He takes an active interest in teaching laparoscopic surgical techniques and has demonstrated at many surgical meetings in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Michael is committed to fertility success, managing endometriosis and fibroids with a laparoscopic surgical approach.
